Dinner-colloquium on city and culture with Jordi Martí

The delegation of the Catalonia Europe Foundation in the Empordà held on August 26 a dinner-colloquium on "City and Culture" with a very special guest, Jordi Martí, manager of the Barcelona City Council. Despite being vacation time, the call gathered more than 40 people at the Hotel Travé de Figueres. Martí made a quite worrisome diagnosis of the state of culture, an area that has not just created a meeting point between public policies and citizen participation, and defended the role of cities such as Figueres and Barcelona, which allocate a significant part of their budgets
