The Fundació Catalunya Europa presents the publication of the Pasqual Maragall Legacy 2019 Research Grant, "Barcelona, ??capital of the Mediterranean. Local democracy and the fight for peace" by Oscar Monterde, PhD in history for the University of Barcelona.

The event will take place at the Institut d'Estudis Mediterranis (IEMED) and will feature the participation of the author of the book, Oscar Monterde and a talk with Antoni Segura, professor of contemporary history at the UB; Anna Terron, director of the FIIAPP and member of the FCE board and moderator of Oriol Nel·lo, professor of geography at the UAB and member of the FCE board. The event will be hosted by Senén Florensa, Executive President of the IEMED.

The event will be in person. Prior registration is required to attend.

People attending the event will receive the book "Barcelona, ??capital of the Mediterranean. Local democracy and the fight for peace", by Oscar Monterde.
